One of the most important tasks in housing construction is to increase the architectural expressiveness of buildings under construction. Effective method, making it possible to expand the planning capabilities of the apartments, to implement the volumetric plasticity of the facades of houses, is their equipping with the spatial elements of enclosing structures, in particular the bay windows, the spatial elements of loggias. Using such elements, it is possible to significantly increase the aesthetic expressiveness of new neighborhoods, as well as reconstructed city blocks of the existing development. The use of bay windows increases the aesthetic properties of the whole building. The function of the bay window is aimed at increasing the area and internal space of the room, at improving the physical and hygienic comfort due to improved insolation and illumination, makes it possible to orient the room to different cardinal directions. The use of each bay window gives an increase in the area of the room by 2–4 m2. The main bay windows and features of their production at the factory are described.
